-THE UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON'S LARGEST STUDENT ORGANIZATION-
TICKET
DISTRIBUTION
University of Dayton Red Scare Student Spirit Point Policy
Red Scare, along with the University of Dayton Student Government Association, has developed a Spirit Point System. This system is designed to bring out an enthusiastic and motivated student cheering section for Flyer Athletics.
The Spirit Point System will be used to determine the order of distribution of Men's Basketball student tickets. Spirit Points will be awarded to students who attend home Dayton Flyer Football, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and Softball games. Your student ID must be scanned in order for your attendance to count. The point distribution is as follows:
Point increments are subject to change with five (5) days notice before an event, and will be made available through the Red Scare website, www.udaytonredscare.com and/or the student e-mail list.
STUDENTS MUST REGISTER ONLINE BY 11:59 PM THE DAY BEFORE DISTRIBUTION IN ORDER TO PICK UP TICKETS ON THE DISTRIBUTION DATE!!!
Students will register with
their student ID numbers at
http://spiritpoints.
udayton.edu
five (5) days prior to the
distribution date at 12am (midnight). Students may register in groups of up to
four (4) people. The deadline for online registration will be
11:59 PM the Thursday before the distribution date. Groups will be
assigned a number in line and pickup time slot the day before
the distribution. Only students who purchase
BLUE
ticket vouchers will be able to register in student groups on the
http://spiritpoints.udayton.edu
website for the first day of
distribution
The order of ticket distribution will be based on the group's average number of Spirit Points. The group with the highest average number of points will be assigned the first pick-up time, the group with the second highest average will be assigned the second pick-up time, etc. In case of a tie in groups' averages, the group that registered earliest in the week will be rewarded the earlier pick-up time.
On the day of ticket distribution, one (1) group member must bring their student ID and represent their group (only the student ID of the group representative is required). The group representative must have each group member's ticket vouchers for the designated games of that ticket distribution.
NOTE: The student ID number of each group member must be written on each ticket voucher that is being redeemed for a ticket. Please ensure ID numbers are written on ALL of the vouchers and the appropriate game's vouchers are detached when coming to distribution. If a voucher does not have the proper student ID number, a ticket will NOT be issued.
The lower arena sections will be distributed in the following order: section 108, 109, 212, 213. If the demand for tickets exceeds the number of tickets available in the lower arena, upper arena sections will be distributed in the following order: section 301, 406, 407.
Failure to arrive at your group's assigned pickup time will result in your group receiving tickets at the end of your designated time slot. If you fail to arrive before the end of your group's assigned time slot, your group will be reassigned to the end of the next time slot. Failure to arrive before the last designated time slot of the day will result in forfeiture of your group's opportunity to pick up tickets on the BLUE voucher distribution date.
Those students who do not purchase the BLUE ticket vouchers are still eligible for tickets. These students can pick up free GREEN ticket vouchers at the Kennedy Union Box office. Students with GREEN ticket vouchers, and students with BLUE vouchers who did not pick up tickets on the BLUE voucher distribution date, will be allowed to pick up any remaining tickets the day following a ticket distribution on a first-come, first-served basis at the Kennedy Union Box Office. Students may bring up to four (4) student IDs and four (4) vouchers to the Kennedy Union Box Office.
WARNING
The proper Student ID numbers must be registered accurately on http://spiritpoints.udayton.edu. If a group enters a wrong ID number they must contact Red Scare through e-mail at Red.Scare@notes.udayton.edu immediately. Failure to do so will cause a registered group to lose their place in line and they must redeem their vouchers on the second day of ticket distribution at the Kennedy Union Box Office
Spirit Point Policy and distribution schedule are subject to change. Please check http://www.udaytonredscare.com for the latest updates to the Red Scare Student Spirit Point Policy.
