How do I earn Spirit Points?
A: To earn Spirit Points, simply attend any of the home events for Football, Volleyball, Men's & Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Basketball, Baseball, or Softball. When you arrive at these events, find the Red Scare Officer that is scanning for each particular event, most times located near the student entrance or student seating section for the particular event. The Officer will then scan your UD ID card and you will receive your points within the next 2 days.
Q: How many Spirit Points are available at each athletic event?
A: Spirit Point values are as follows:
10 Points - Volleyball, Men's & Women's Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Weekday Games
20 Points - Football, Men's Basketball

I am missing Spirit Points, what should I do?
A: If you are missing Spirit Points, please contact Red Scare through Red.Scare@notes.udayton.edu. In this
e-mail, please explain the situation with an explanation of the problem (i.e. I am missing Spirit Points for the XYZ event that I attended on January 1). However, Red Scare is not responsible for missing points. It is the responsibility of each member to check their points following athletic events attended. The points from each event will be uploaded no later than 2 days following an event. If, after 2 days, your Spirit Points do not show up on the SPS Portal powered by Ticketmaster, you should e-mail Red Scare as instructed above. Each member has 5 days following an event to check his or her points and contact Red Scare about any errors. 6 days following an event, the points are final and no point compensations will be made.
I cannot attend a sporting event. Can I give a friend my ID so I can still receive Spirit Points?
A: No. You must be in attendance for the athletic event to receive Spirit Points.
