WELCOME TO THE RED SCARE...
        the highly visible student organization impacting and influencing the    outcomes of each and every University of Dayton athletic contest.  Since its inception in 1997, the Red Scare has grown from 50 members to the current membership of over 1300 UD undergrads.  With each passing year, the Red
Scare continues to grow in number and prestige, making all of
UD's facilities some of the most intimidating environments in the nation.

Announcements

There will be 50 Spirit Points offered for the Baseball game vs. Richmond held on Sunday, February 27th, at 12:00, at Time Warner Stadium next to UD Arena.  Red Scare will host a cookout in correspondence with the game.

The 3/1 Women's Basketball game vs. St. Louis and 3/8 Men's Basketball game vs. St. Josephs points will not show up until the 2007-2008 points have been removed.  Once this is done, there will be an e-mail announcement sent out.

FLYERS ROUT BULLDOGS IN WEDNESDAY'S FINALE, 19-2
 
Visiting Dayton exploded for its second-highest scoring output of the season to record a 19-2 victory at Butler in the finale of a non-conference baseball doubleheader on Wednesday. The Flyers improved to 24-16 overall following a sweep of the Bulldogs that lifted UD's winning streak to six consecutive games.

CRAMER NAMED FCS AD'S ASSOCIATION SCHOLAR-ATHLETE
 
Cleveland, Ohio - Brandon Cramer, a senior safety from the University of Dayton, and Cory Koenig, a senior running back from South Dakota State University, have been chosen as the recipients of the Seventh Annual Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Scholar-Athletes of the Year Award. Each will receive a $5,000 postgraduate scholarship.
